4. Government Fees and Third Party Charges

All government fees, statutory charges, stamp duty, penalties, notary fees, professional charges or third-party costs (where applicable) are to be borne by the client. Our service fee does not include such charges unless specifically mentioned.

While we make every effort to deliver services within committed timelines, certain factors like government portal downtime, policy changes, or document verification delays are beyond our control. The Legal Things shall not be liable for such delays.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Legal Things shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages caused due to use of our services.

  • Non-compliance or penalties resulting from wrong information/documents given by the client.

  • Government decisions, policy changes, strikes, lockdowns, or system issues.

Our total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount of service fee paid by the client for that specific service.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Once a service request is initiated, and documents are submitted to authorities, fees are non-refundable.

  • Refunds may be considered only if The Legal Things is unable to start the service at all due to internal reasons.

  • Government fees, challans, or statutory payments are strictly non-refundable.

8. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of all client data and documents. Any personal or business details provided to us will be used only for service delivery purposes. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
